Norwegian Gannet is a salmon transport and processing vessel built by Balenciaga Shipyards for Hav Line Gruppen. It is the largest ship built by Balenciaga Shipyards to date, and a reference in the sector as it is the first hybrid ship dedicated to aquaculture.

This vessel is a reference in the sector, as it is the first hybrid vessel dedicated to aquaculture. With this project, we have proved anew our ability to integrate our machines into the most complex propulsion systems.
- 1 x 2700 kW battery-powered horizontal PTI/PTO (power take-in/power take-off) motor, at 690V, at 1200 rpm combined with the main diesel engine.
Designed for the transportation and processing of salmon, this is the largest vessel built by Astilleros Balenciaga so far (2018). Its main characteristics are 94 meters long, 18 meters wide and 4,000 gross displacement tons.
