A new year begins and we would like to seize this early news to express our best wishes to all customers, suppliers and partners. 2023 is a year full of new projects and after Christmas break we find ourselves with batteries fully charged to tackle new challenges ahead and those in which we are already immersed. Last year’s latter half and this year’s first weeks proved to be of particular fruitfulness and we kicked off with a significant order book that we will deliver over the course of this year, although some deliveries will take us up to 2028.
Alconza’s team has observed how offshore wind generation continues growing and we will soon deliver motors for wind farm support vessels. This is certainly one of the markets in which Alconza has deep experience in supplying equipment suited to meet the most demanding working conditions. Furthermore, our business unit focused on navy projects has witnessed how the effort and continuous support to our customers has been rewarded; Alconza will be involved in one of the most ambitious programs to date, facing some of the highest quality standards.
We keep on developing the industrial market and focusing on business diversification. Recently delivered several motors for water pumps in nuclear power plants and soon we will deliver a new motor to be installed in a test bench which will be shortly built in Spain. Power generation and drive activities, where high-performance and tailor-made design equipment is required, will remain as drivers for our core business.
Nor can we forget the commitment of our Customer Service team to continue addressing any challenges that may arise. As a result of this close collaboration with customers, we will deliver new motors and generators to replace old equipment, in some cases manufactured by Alconza, while in other projects produced by third parties. Our versatility and flexibility make it possible to develop this type of projects and to support our customers throughout the product life cycle.
All in all, which is no small feat, we are looking forward to this new year and we will keep you regularly updated. The global commitment towards electrification is clear and we are here to make our contribution to this journey that we are traveling together.
