We have solutions for applications where higher redundancy and special designs adapted to the most restrictive service and space conditions are required.
Recommended for low voltage power ratings above 6MW. Also applicable to medium voltage solutions, they provide superior redundancy while maintaining compact dimensions, without affecting reliability.
In tandem execution it is possible to design both motors to be interchangeable, enabling the propulsion line to be kept operational while repair and/or maintenance work is being carried out.
Quiet and low-vibration designs to meet the most demanding requirements (SILENT-R, ICES 209) on research vessels, military vessels, passenger ships...
The Monoblock execution further minimizes the engine dimensions by eliminating intermediate bearings and coupling, achieving a compact design, suitable for the tiniest propulsion rooms and with the possibility to design them with mounting inclinations of up to 7 degrees.
We incorporate all the necessary accessories for monitoring and control, including lubrication equipment integrated in the motors themselves.

The delivery of these motors strengthens Alconza’s presence in this vessel segment with such high technical requirements, proving that it has the best technological and productive capabilities to equip this type of vessels with solutions based on rigidly mounted asynchronous motors.
NOVORSSIYSK
Belonging to the 21900M project, built by Vyborg Shipyard for “Rosmorport” and delivered in 2016, it is the third in its series (Vladivostok, Murmansk and Novorossiysk). It represented the first non-nuclear icebreaker project over the last 30 years.
HUTA 12
Built by Royal IHC, and delivered in 2014, the cutter dredger called Al Bahar c/d Huta 12 has a length of 122 m, a beam of 21 m, a total power of 23,545 kW. It stands out for being a “heavy duty” dredger, with dredging capacity up to 28 meters deep, usually focused on the construction of new port terminals.
DC ORISANT
Built by Royal IHC, and delivered in 2018, the TSHD (Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger) called DC Orisant has a length of 142 m, beam of 23 m, a total power of 11,000 kW and speed of 16 knots.
